Campus Lockdown 8-9-22
August 9, 2022
Dear Kea'au Middle Families:
Our campus was placed on lockdown status this morning as a precaution between 9:57am and 10:35am due to a school safety incident at our neighboring Kea'au High School campus. The Hawai'i Police Department (HPD) responded immediately and all students remained safe. There was no specific threat directed at our campus and our school will remain open during our normal business hours. HPD officers may be in the area around our campus as the investigation continues.
We appreciate your help as we work together to keep all of our students safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at (808)313-4800
