The Hawai‘i State Department of Education provides modified meal accommodations for children with a disability who are unable to consume the regular breakfast or lunch meal.

School Food Services Branch (SFSB) provides healthy and nutritious meals for all students and customers. This includes:

Grains with more than 50% whole grain ingredients
Several daily options of fruits & vegetables, including 100% fruit and vegetable juice
Lean protein choices
Increased fiber from whole grain products & legumes
Reduced-sodium foods
Low-fat and fat-free dairy options such as low-fat & fat-free milk
