Interactive Science Notebook

• Required daily
• Class notes taken - Cornell style
• Right side pages - Teacher notes
• Left side pages - Student understandings
• Used to study for quizzes/test
• Color pencil must be used on left side drawings/notes

BE PREPARED
Have on your desk before the tardy bell rings: 

• Binder with HSN (Planner)
• Notebook
• Pencil, Pen, Highlighter
• Homework

 
BE ON TIME
Be in your seat before the tardy bell rings and begin bell assignment
 
BE RESPECTFUL

• Pay attention and listen to the lesson
• Participate in activities
• Listen when others are talking
• Use appropriate language in and out of class
• Care about yourself, others, and property of others

Grading Policy
Each student’s quarter, semester, and year grade will be based on the following:
                                                           

• 90% - 100%     A = Awesome
• 80% - 89%       B = Basically Fine
• 70% - 79%       C = Could be better
• 60% - 69%       D = Didn't make it
• 0% - 59%         F = Far from it
