We will be using GoMath! for 7th grade math classes here is a link to an online copy of the book:

Practice makes perfect and we learn by doing are central ideas to the course.

Grades are bought with points.  Points are earned through validated learning.  Below are the ways that students can validate their learning and earn points:

Tests are 200 points each with 2 per quarter, for a total of 400 points.
Quizzes are 50 point each with 4 per quarter for a total of 200 points.
Practice is worth 20 points per week or about 200 points per quarter.
Bell Work is worth 5 points per week or about 50 points per quarter.
Reflections are worth 5 points per week or about 50 points per quarter.
Reminders cost 5 points each.  Students start with 100 points and keep them all if they do not need reminded to stay on task.

900-1000 points buys an A
800-899 points buys a B
700-799 points buys a C
